Karilea...thanks so much, I snicker all of the time...I guess my grandaughter takes after me. At the ballet recital, all of the little girls had beautiful smiles plastered on their faces....but Dasha, had this look on her face which said "what am I doing here?" ~ ballet hugsLyra |

Thanks so much Sharon... Actually, for me...the best part was watching that snicker on her face. At her ballet recital, all of the little girls had plastered smiles and I was so proud of Dasha because she refused to conform. She is just like me. Thanks so much, Reg... Yes, I will give this to her when she is a bit older. Right now, I think that her mother might be upset that I am actually approving of her not thinking about her ballet. Oh Lyra, what a precious princess and it took me a few minutes to realize that the crown adoring her head, was really the light fixture in the room. :-) This was a wonderful write. Thanks so much, Electra... I wasn't going to write about it until I watched her and I could see that she had a different demeanor than the other dancers. She says she wants to take a break from ballet for a while, but would like to go back to it in a couple of years... She's been dancing for about 4 years...since age 5, so she's probably a bit burned out. ~ granma chipmunk hugsLyra |

Thanks so much, Nan... I believe that you nailed it... Thats exactly what she was thinking! It was also very hot in there because the air conditioning was broken... they probably should've postponed it until it was fixed...
