Revelation

The trophic of a tropic smile
Brings golden glitter to an Isle
Where waves of soft caressing air
Bring dreams to me of golden bare.

I swim beneath a shading palm
Away from all, well lost in charm
Enamored leisure near to swoon
Above a corals blooming dune

And butterflies of lazy fins
Swim in and out in azures prim
With sparkling gold and silver turn
Amidst the swaying green of churn

An Eden that I lost, once mine
A paradise, of older brine
Lost to curiosity
An asinine pomposity

And I can only watch agleam
With inner thoughts of chance redeem

I haven't had very much time to read lately... but what I had was enough to miss you. *S* Welcome back, dear friend... it's great to read your work again... I enjoyed this very much. *S*

For Seymour

The aggravations of aging,
Ponderings of a powerful mind,
Dreams left to fulfill and tasks well done -
All this, we are likely to find
Every time we open a poem
That flows from your talented pen
And every word you share with us
Is worth reading again and again!

I think of your talk over ribs that night
Meeting you was such a great pleasure!
I wait for the time our paths cross once more
Seymour, dear, you are a treasure!

(But when I think of a blubber pop
I start to giggle, can’t seem to stop. *G*)

Welcome back to the pages of blue, although perhaps Ron could change them to green to match the envy.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Seymour darling heart and keeper of the stars incandescent shine, WELCOME HOME, oh how I missed you. I haven’t been in much but I still missed you terribly. Do not reply, as Krissy once did well you should aim better then

This reflection of your soul’s thought is one of the best, the very best I’ve ever read by you. You have in this wonderful flow of words written such beauty. In this utterly perfect poem you’ve excelled yourself yet again.

This is truly exquisite writing and I love it love it love it utterly. Absolutely gorgeous writing, truly wonderful.

x x x  a welcome home kiss or three

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
