Last night... I sat under a full moon watching it float across the sky, being comfortable with your silence. I climbed the stars one by one letting the darkness lift me. I thought about words and how they have taught me to view the world in a different light. A spark arced above, capturing my attention, traveling smoothly until it faded, leaving me suspended in time... remembering when. The warmest breeze swept over me, and for a moment, I wondered if you were watching the night skies, too, meeting my loneliness halfway.
