My blood is running cold Have I lived a thousand lives? Or is this the only one? I'm being torn apart inside Trying too hard to touch the sun The memory of your softest touch Is etched upon my soul But I'm alone in this infernal search To find what makes me whole I thought it was you I thought you felt the same But now I'm alone, a counting coo My head held high but my body maimed The memory of your tender kiss Is burned into my soul My very existence seems pointless now And my blood is running cold. |
