Anyones Brother By: Noah Eaton 7/22/02 I've never been a magnet to anyone I'm not inspiring I'm not what you go away thinking about Just a page skipped in lifes diary I guess I'm not pretty I may be mistletoe But I can't bring any harmony I try too hard but my accomplishments are never bold Every day it feels I am living in a retirement home But I'm not nearly ready to settle down... Am I anyones brother Am I anyones sibling? Am I a magnet to anything? Or just a poison in someones drink? Am I anyones brother? Or was I just adopted from a lost cause I just want to be a special friend Without you I feel lost... I feel lost... There's so many things I've never got to tell anyone So much to say but no way to say it it seems I try to assemble a second family reunion But I am just whispering in my sleeve My sisters always say they pity me Maybe I just have high expectations But I'm always willing to knock on someone's door And it's so hard to get an invitation Magic mirror on the wall, tell me am I worthy? Do I deserve to be liked and loved or am I missing something? Am I anyones brother Am I anyones sibling? Am I a magnet to anything? Or just a poison in someones drink? Am I anyones brother? Noah, I was surprised when I read this. Not because it was so good, (all of your work is), but because it made me sad. You are the most humble person I know if you think that you don't matter to anyone. You bring so much joy to the lives of those of us on these pages. I can only imagine the joy you bring to those you are around in your every day life. They are truly lucky to have such a wonderful person in their life, as are we.
