Don't wait up for me!
transport runs for free?
driver waits for passenger
who just reaches the door
presses hard on gas peddle
right to the floor
satisfaction, the driver leaves
pedestrian stuck at the road curb..
in desperation, tries to keep up
driver entertains himself
occasionally stops, lets on ticket holders
makes sure they move to the rear
scuttle to the end, in a wink.
have them pay some fare
then take off, I think
jostled for advantage
carrying company loads
driver picks up another toad.
Driver,don't wait up for me
transport runs for free!

wouldn't that be grand: our public transport...the metro... redsigned their seating, each car has 6 fewer seats allowing for more standing room and I'm supposed to pat them on their backs and say, why that's great work...what suckers we are!!

(smiles) Wow, it must be so convenient to have a transport like this in the city, sweet friend, I don't believe where I live we have this updated system yet!
