Semi-Trucks scare me to death
When they get on my butt
I get ot of breathe

I am so scared they will run me off the road
Man what a heavy load
A ton of crushed metal on you

Semi-trucks never go the speed limit
They go 10 to 20 mph over it

Semi-trucks are my worst fear
Being in front of them
I cannot bare

Cold hands means a warm heart

My 93 year old mother-in-law says, "you've got to watch 'em coming and going..." and they said THAT in the horse-and-buggy day!  I think it still applies!

I have the same fear, Julie...
One time, I remember being tailgated by a big semi while driving down a steep and curvy hill on Rte. 80 in Pennsylvania.  I had to keep going faster and faster because he was going faster.  I buried my speedometer needle and I was absolutely positive he was going to rear end me.  Sometime during that ordeal, I must have screamed because after I got out of his way, I noticed that my throat was hurting....
Now, I only drive on highways when I absolutely have to.  I usually try to find a back road to get where I am going, but its not always possible.
Whew!!!!!!!!your poem sure brought that memory back, loud and clear.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Julie, I know just how you feel, sweet friend, I am also scared of semis and think they should be banned from interstates and they should drive on frontage roads beside highways for safety in traffic! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I often wish for super strength so I can stop those semis.

What is life without poetry and adventure?

A terribly frightening, dark piece.  I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
