Larry C was a bachelor, who'd been around a while,
At 63 the passing years had not cramped his style.
Mrs. C was a worldwise doll just short of twenty one,
When Larry popped the question, she thought wedlock might be fun.

But there were some predictions, that no good could come of this,
And age would be a problem, to their domestic bliss.
Rumors flew and fingers wagged with knowing looks exchanged,
And folks were sure that shortly, a divorce might be arranged.

Six months later Toerag, was walking Rover in the park,
The day was almost over, it was getting dark
And there upon a park bench, was Larry looking sad,
He moaned that life at one time good, had lately turned to bad.

"Ah yes" said Toerag, noting Larry's frown,
I guess it's just your old "equipment" is now staying down?
"Oh, not at all" said Larry, "though the body's in decay,
We make out all around the house 'bout fifteen times a day."

"Though I've not been home for a week, I'm sure that she'll forgive,
I just cannot remember, exactly where I live?"

Toe,
Too dang funny! What were you doing in the park so late at night, eh? LMBO

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

ROFLMAO...

She married for his money
Hoped he wouldn't last very long
But now she needs a leash for him
And wonders if it would be wrong
To wait a while to look for him
She needs one peaceful night
Without him chasing her around
He's really quite a fright!
His mind is lost in yesteryears
And conquests of days gone by
But he's not managed yet to please...
He falls asleep mid-try!

A double dose of delight from your pen this morning... this suthern gal is loving it! *G*

This is hilarious! I don't show up for a day or two, and when I come back you're at it again.

I love the use of rhythm in a funny anecdote
And only wish that your words were something that I wrote
Someday I'll be the age of the gentleman you spoke
It's great to think of those whose equipment ain't broke

Great job..great story..

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Toe,
It's nice to know that infant surgery wasn't completely debilitating!

Another 'Slash-whoosh' in the duel of reparte!!!   I ought to go live with LarryC, as I have the opposite problem, I can find my way home!!!!!!!   Together, we could make a perfect team, and he could carry out my matrimonial duties for me (if he had any energy left!).....Only Joking!!!!!!!(just in case anyone takes this seriously)
Still ROFL on this one !!!!!!
Kind thoughts,
John
