Passions, is the Place

Sometimes I felt, the voices in me were fighting to speak
Yet, they got choked and held captive in a rage burning within
For endless thoughts and unanswered questions clouded the mind
Uncertainties overwhelmed me as I travelled through time

The sores of my aching soul were beckoning with their plea
That somewhere out there, I could find healing and peace
Hence, I began a meandering walk through the cyber paths
To search that place of words that would speak my unheard voice

It didn’t take long for me to end my aimless, restless journey
One day I stepped on a road that led to Passions’ sanctuary
I heard a voice that assured me it was a place of soulful rest
As I began to bask in the colourful rays of poetic refresh
~~~~
Speechless, was once my voice
Poetry, became my soulful search
Your words I found, I embraced
Passions, is the place
Thank you my wonderful friends, for letting me find you here.
"to bask in the colourful rays of poetic refresh" Well you've certainly found the right place!
Marie, you are in the right place...for here are where the echoes are, and the winds of yesteryear, with the eyes of tomorrow, waiting for beauty...
Dear friend, you have found the right place, where you can share with those who care, nice to find your work.
I enjoyed the write.
Sincerely Rick
I wrote of love, I wrote of tears
I wrote so much throughout the years
I lay my heart where all could see
Until I felt that I was free
And when I did, more words did come
And brighter came my daily sun
I found in friends so dear and true
A place to rest, the same as you
Take care and be well.
mycafe,
You express rage quite gently dear friend. So glad you found your way here. Don't ever go.
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
mycafe,
It's strange how many of us seek out this place because of darker emotions and stay to give hope and strength to others. Your works have lifted my spirits and I hope you stay, at least until the healing's done.
I am so glad that you found this place, Marie....
Now please write a poem about how you got your intriguing name of mycafe....
Marie - I'm so glad the road brought you here to Passions. I'm with Lyra, just how did you get that name?  Hugs, Marti
