Will you forget your name In the presence of my secret garden? When I get inside Will you wonder just how I got in? I know What you’re thinkin’ And you want to know how this started. But I can’t define everything that I know has parted. There’s pain inside that’s waiting For me its all too late I’m overrun with hating I need for you to relate There’s too much come to ending The colors fading fast Still I’ve no use pretending I forgot the past |

You can forget the past, my good friend - time erases bitterness and hate, which in themselves are a destructive force. There is absolutely nothing we can do about the past, a year ago, a week ago, or even a minute ago, but we have the power to change the future, the next minute, the next week, the next year. Go on, change it!! I dare you! Nice words and thank you. John Grass won't grow under feet that don't move. |
