If I were a Star

If I were a star,
I would twinkle from afar.
It would be very bright
To give the world some light.
To help the whole world out
And be there without a doubt.

Give the world a hand
And be a better man.
Bright and shining I will be
To help the world be cheery.
If I were a star,
You know I wouldn’t be very far!

I can tell you a bit about trying to be a star..I mean on a film set, or on stage...can't help you in the celestial department although I glow from within sometimes. Your pseudonym inspired a short rhyme, a dedication to you for your visit here..please continue to glow and write

Wow! I didnt expect to get a wonderful greating like this, but thank you all!! You have truly made me feel welcome and I will work on some more poetry to write. I have a bit of writers block.. but I will be posting more. I am glad that everyone enjoyed my poem, as I enjoyed writing it.
Thank you sunshine for the email, I got it today.. as I have been away from my computer for a bit. Thanks to all for your sweet words once again..
