Love Shines Through Star light reflections on an emerald lake glistens a chandelier of hope in a night sky's parasol. Lazy rippling current beneath moon light christens, "Angels come and lift me with your voices lest I fall." Summer's breeze has come to bend the weeping willows that stand along the lake shore to brush the water's edge, Thus the rolling hills appear as feathered pillows encompassing my dreams with promises I pledged. Lonesome are my cries like the horned owl's screechings that echoes through my mind with repetitive displays. Like monoliths, the trees expand with grandiose reachings to shadow o'er my tears with branches dull and gray. Dark the summer eves that paint the absent lover a portrait of a Renaissance in dreary masquerade, but still the grasp of truth from my mournful heart discovers a turquoise glowing ember in a blackened forest glade. -Lighthouse Bob [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (07-16-2002 11:52 AM).] |
