My love flows like a river How he fills my inner being Before he came into my life There was no love that I was seeing My love engages my heart How I yearn for his caress He puts me upon a pedestal And treats me like a princess My love showers me with kisses His heart plays in perfect tune On more than one occasion His love transports me to the moon My love has given me confidence With him I can be myself And to think after all this time I thought I'd be left upon the shelf My love accepts me as I am He says he wouldn't change a thing He's given my life new meaning So much joy does his love bring My love continues to bloom For him I will always be there As my words express my feelings And show him how much I care My love has no boundaries For it goes deeper than the sea So many hours of pleasure Your love has afforded me To you I'll always be indebted For you've made my spirit soar So much your love has taught me I have so much to be grateful for I am in motion |

Hey Sue - You've got this love thing down to a science girlfriend. Your hubby is very fortunate to have someone like you and vice versa. ...'My love accepts me as I am He says he wouldn't change a thing He's given my life new meaning So much joy does his love bring...' In my opinion, the above lines are truly what love, respect and caring for one another are all about. You did a great job on this poem.
