How wet can wet be Enough to drown our sorrows To flood our existence down the gutters To rain down on us in never ending pain In a tidal wave To obliterate a species I say let it be the moisture of lips kissing a loved one The shower that lifts your spirit into the heavens In the gentle mists that carry rainbows In the dew of flowers sending us on our way How wet can it be So that the purity of it Refreshes natures spell every day And my tears continue to flow D.Lester Young (07/16/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) |

True words...there are all kinds of wet such as is the case of many things...the good and the bad. May your wet be good ![]() |
