Loves Me/Loves Me Not

Some day we will meet
and when we do you will look into these eyes
that change their colors when mooded by you
and the depth of me will seep into your heart
and you will realize at that moment,
who I am.

Some day you will see the spirit in me rise,
become aware of my shades, the hues
that blush me when I am warmed
by your presence and know the truth of
who I am.

Some day you will be the one,
who walks up to me, slips arms around
and surprises me with the touch of lips,
not wanting to waste time, getting to know
who I really am.
