I always tell myself I'm not going to post anymore
It seems all I can write about is the pain I feel inside
And, I am sure no one wants to hear about any of it
The feelings that I feel inside are so hard for me to hide

It seems there is nothing I can do or say to make him stop
I never know what might happen, when he comes home at night
If only he could see what he is doing to himself and us
When he does decide to come home he is an awful sight

I always tell myself each time, that I am not going to say anything
But, each time I try to do this, he stays out even later than before
I'm sitting here at nearly midnight and he still isn't home
Who knows he may have gone to town so he can get some more

There are many times I feel as if I am giving up on life
One thing I know for sure is that I wish I wasn't his wife

I hurt for you. How many more women have to suffer this. I am sure there is a way out....somewhere, somehow. I send you my love, as, I am sure does everyone in this Forum. Unfortunately you have no control over him...you do have control over whether you choose to continue on this path...I'm sure a hard decision that will require much thought either way...James

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, I'm sorry you are going through so much, sweet friend, I think it is so very unfair and heartless for him to deny you and your family like that for you are a very loving person and you deserve to be treated with compassion and respect! (BIG HUGGGSSSSS) I hope he can reach out to you soon and if that doesn't happen that you can have the heart to find what really makes you happy! I can understand this writing completely, and identify with it, as in my past, the identical things happened to me. I can only offer my hand in friendship, and give you the knowledge that I gained from many years of helping others with similar experiences as an 'abuse counselor.' Please feel free to email me at any time, if you need support, advice, and a friend. Sometimes in those circumstances, it is just good to know that someone else has been there too, and knows how you feel. In the meantime, you're in my thoughts, and prayers...

Sue, I for one, would encourage you to always write these feelings. And I will always care, as will many others. I wish you were not in this situation. And I know how hard it is to make a move. It sounds so simple, but it never is.
I will think positive thoughts for you, and wish you all the best.
