My Greatest Blessing

Tonight as I began to pray, I started to think of you
I wondered what you were doing and were you thinking of me too
The love inside of my heart shines forever bright
As I smile knowing forever you and I will share loves light

No matter what will come, you and I will see yet another tomorrow
Happiness will fill our hearts and souls, no matter the sorrow
Tears will no longer fall, for in your arms I will be
Together we will share this life, living in love for eternity

It doesn't matter to me what others think of us or even what they might say
I will love you true and honest for the rest of our living days
I'll never give you up, for you and I share the same soul
You will always be the one I credit with making me whole

When the universe stops turning, and it's our time to go to Heaven above
I will still declare to Him, that you are the one I truly love
God will bless us with his Spirit, and shelter us from pain...he will love us and keep us warm
Until that time that we go to the Kingdom, he will watch us and keep us safe from harm

Though sometimes I feel sad, and I wonder what will happen to me and you
Nothing can keep me down for long, as I remember your beautiful face and our love that is true
Tonight as I prayed, I lingered for a moment or two
As I gave thanks to my greatest blessing...YOU
