I stumbled across many pages Until I made my way to you I felt lost and all alone Before I found these pages of blue Life had been so unkind I felt so forlorn and sad For life had taken from me My beautiful Dad Before my father died I had never written a thing Then one day the words just flowed And so much joy did they bring My heart came out of the shadows And my soul had risen above Amongst so many talented writers I found an endless supply of love It's been just over a year now Since I began to find my way You all made me feel so welcome It is no wonder that I stayed I am in motion |

(BIG HUGGGSSSSSSS) Oh Sue, I cried reading this because I know so very much your love for your father and I know he will always be so proud of you and somehow I believe he wanted you to write always and now he is so happy you are spreading your love to all the world! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, I bet your dad must be one of the most wonderful and loving angelic dads in the world and I know you have so much of his heart in you, for you truly are an angel to us all, we're all soooooooooooo happy you're here, we all love you so so much! YAY!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Sue, I, for one, am glad you came, glad you wrote even under such tragic circumstances and glad you stayed, it makes me proud to have an Aussie mate like you. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Sue, it does help so much, to write and read, and know someone hears. Lovely poem. Sandra |

See, it's the things that people say, like this, that I stay too. You are so right Sue. Kris A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground |

I'm glad that we both found this place, Sue and I really like your poem... Its too bad that it took tragedy to bring your heart out of the shadows and reveal your wonderful writing talent. I have a similar story. I have been writing poetry on and off ever since childhood...but I hadn't written for many many years, when my dear first husband died in 1999. I started writing again as therapy...and haven't stopped since. I think that this has been the longest time in my life in which I have kept writing without stopping. ~ hugs for a friend Lyra |
