something in the silences pauses emphasizing more something in a cricket's sing rewinds the frames of days before... there is thought within blue flame hallowed yellow, reaching white-- something hesitates my name; there's something dark within the light. a lava road of green sap bleed of branch--alive--to burnt curled leaf. springtime pine to choke of smoke-- every ash a promise broke. Embered eyes aglow in burn, beg to me of lesson learned. I throw moss to caution's wind-- signaled smoke in rings of whim. I summon Gods in blanket's weave, stitched by tears of Goddess' need. My message in a star's spotlight adrift within blue ink of night. |

I saw the smoke signals go up and I thought they were calling me back to tribal council. I can't say as I am disappointed though as I have been treated to a message within YOUR stars instead. Superb penning and your cadence carried from split rhyme to two line rhyme flawlessly. Loved it much. |

an unserene explanation: This was written for a friend who won't talk to me. Thus, I am subjecting the forum to the carcinogens of my "second hand smoke." sigh. wish I knew what I did wrong now. (serenity exits, bumping into stuff...) (serenity enters) Forgot to say "thank you." (serenity curtseys..and exits again...bumping into the same stuff...) |
