(Expeirenced this with my Grandma in 1994.) Cancer is a bad condition All the chemo And submission Then it comes back The days you hurt so bad And can't hold your food down Makes people feel mad and sad Then it gets so bad For your last days Your on a morphine drip And it doesn't work But you feel at ease When you die The pain is gone With no more worry Cold hands means a warm heart |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Julie, this is so very sad, sweet friend, my heart cries out to the many who experience cancer and I pray bthat soon a cure can be found to relieve not only those who have it but also their loved ones who pray for them! (sigh) My thoughts and prayers are with your grandmother, sweet friend, God Bless your loving and compassionate heart, we all love you so much! May love and light always shine upon you! I love your poem...I dealt with cancer myself but I have been in remission for four years now ( Thanks to G_d ) But I met so many while I was in treatment that are dead today. But Doctors are making great strides today. Sorry to hear about your grandmamma. Enjoyed your poem. Heather |
