Light Verse

If it were possible, this dream,
    I would then become
                 Poetry
If such a dream were to fall upon your ear ~

But then I must be light
           And air
                        A thought yet to be born
A waterfall to nurture all souls

And

I would be love.

Oh, to slip into your heart
          To linger in your mind

As a fresh breeze lifts a day
           As that same tease of breeze lifts
                    A hem of skirt

To be the finger that would
        Caress your thoughts
                 And feed your soul

Becoming the arms that
            Hold warm the love
                      That loves the love

Yes, I would be poetry
           To tend to your heart

If it were possible, this dream ~

This poem reminds me of a spinning wheel spinning gold, Elan...
It has all of the right twists and turns to make those lovely strands
