For You I walk the softness of my heart and spread my wings when oft I flow. Before you came, this lonely heart spent moments pressing keys to show in words a life, in lack of hope, the nights no longer twinkled bright, the days stretched on and on without a touch of calm nor clear of sight. Yet once upons began to rise, the heavens sent their clouds above, inside came out the mind of heart romance of thought, a feel of love. From far away, they sensed a need a wake up call to find my smiles, once lost in tides of past in hide came wider still, across the miles. So thankful I, in rhyming speak and hold within my fingers touch the passioned penned from poets fine who've made that smile forever, such. M *thank you Serenity for including me in your rhyming list *s "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Maureen darling heart this is so incredibly moving and heart warming. Only you could have written this so well You paint your heart here darling girl. The strokes of your pen sketch in the outline, then with your masterly use of words you bring the picture to life. Sue... thank you for reading...I share your warmth of words in my smile...I am improving daily, thank you for thinking of me. hugs M Martie...thank YOU...and all the wonderful poets on this site who are so enjoyable to read and so often inspire my words and thoughts. Kethry ..you remember my ~soft smiles~?
