A nibble, a bite, a sudden dip, the thump of a heart in wait. The curl of a tongue or a lip, the lure of waiting fate. The wait, patiently to see if the whale will be caught. The bait, dangling delicately, fresh from the store was bought. The hands holding the pole with eyes gleaming of the thought. A tongue in cheek does roll as dinner is wishfully sought. Come little fishy, come to me. Find the bait swaying there. Come little taste, a delicacy. Hurry, I’ll keep you, I swear. |

GS...thanx bunches....I was darn near born on the water in a boat....My mother was a fisherman/woman for many years....taught me how to hold my tongue just right...So that I would get the bites....Treasured moments... |
