Felt a chill again this eve...had to repost this memory... From clouds of silver teardrops, Tendrils of past stream down Sense it in a heart-stop- As we walk the barren ground… Within a moonlight apparition, Silent echoes of the mind Explain away the superstition- Yet still feel the chill behind… With the faintest sagacity of sunshine, Silent wisps of the departed fade Veil it for another time- As we meander on our way… Yet, they seem to strike a covenant, Between most worlds and mine For I’m living with the dead Trapped holding the sign… Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |
