Staring over my shoulder Watching for any misdeed He waits to pounce on each word He thinks I shouldn’t read He torments me with this game As he looks for signs of lust I begin to think he’s lost More than just my trust So I turned to someone else A man who understood me A man who knows I’m a prisoner No longer able to write free Our lonely nights were spent In the light of monitors glow Distrust sent me into the arms Of a man I want to know The closer we became The harder I tried to hide The unreality of my other life And the fact that now I lied What does this circle do to me? Where does trust begin and end And if I was so trustworthy Why did I seek love from this friend? Don’t blame me for all this mess It’s HIM who dares to pry It’s HIM who makes me do this It’s HIM who makes me lie. |

An inside look? or no? I can see why any woman would feel compulsion to do this... There is the obvious reason of no trust...love HAS to have...no questions, no matter what... Enjoyed this write Sharon!!! Have a Happy 4th!!! ~Tanya Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

men are such buttholes. I should know. I'm one of them. Sometimes I wish I was a woman, man. I'd show all of those two timing alpha-males a lesson or two. Good work, deVine. I have many years to go before I posess a fraction of the skill you do |

An interesting picture you paint here. This could happen to a man or a woman, and am sure it has on more than one occasion. Interesting writing. Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion. |

I honestly didn't expect many replies to this as it DOES hit home to a lot of us. Thank you for reading and replying. I appreciate it. |

A vicious circle in here, isn't it? I can fully understand the spinning emotions in here. Sometimes it's just so ironical. Loved this write a lot, Poet deVine. ~mycafe Keep counting your blessings |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sharon, I can understand this kind of confusion so much, sweet friend, I believe all relationships offer us all depends on who we meet and the peope we meet determine what we become most of the time! (sigh) This is very well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I like this, girl. Tell HIM! Your pen shouldn't be harnessed by anyone. Besides, we'd miss you too much. Krishankins A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground |

If someone cannot accept who you are and trust in what you do, how can they expect you to share your love with them. As a man I feel that there can never be love without trust. This is a very emotional poem and really really good. [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (07-08-2002 01:28 AM).] |
