Music for Serenity

There has to be some music
To fit the mood this eve
There has to be some tune in life
That doesn’t want to leave

Where to turn to find the song
The one that makes me smile
One that feels its own belong
And carries me awhile

It has to be my very own
That fits so cleverly
And it should somehow carry
My own name, Serenity

It needs to carry fairy dust
And a bit of chime
There has to be a certain song
One that I call mine

It seems I hear a bit of it
Deep inside my heart
It only waits for a way out
To give it a fresh start

There has to be some music
That fits this soul of mine
Something for the moon dust’s glow
That welcomes in sunshine…

Karilea, this flows and sounds so beautiful when read aloud, it is the only music I shall need tonight. And yes...I could faintly hear the chimes, as if by magic.
