there is no echo emanating from the endless pit the sound only disappears like light into a black hole sound devoured into silence like a transformer converting voltages to currents -- and very rapid ones too in this fast river of life where the rocks to hang on to are slippery as eels some slimier than sin! how can energy disappear? where does it go? if it does go somewhere, is that part of this world too so that the sum total of happiness and sadness is the same as the sum total of all additions and subtractions of truths and lies of light and shadows of good and bad of you and me and yours and mine which rounded up to the nearest round figure still comes to a zero so ironic; if it doesn’t go anywhere then why don’t I hear myself speak why do my thoughts die strangled is it a simple matter of fade out like having one too many and not able to think straight for a while and then not able to think at all no, not true… even the drunk have dreams when they sleep and they get their smiles too no, I won’t stifle myself I am not willing to be a stranger to my dreams and won’t estrange them either one day they will start speaking again (for now, I will start adding up the positive bits) |

Sudhir my friend, it's been a while since I read one of your rambles. I have to say that they are still as precious as ever.....This is delightful!.... "how can energy disappear? where does it go? if it does go somewhere, is that part of this world too so that the sum total of happiness and sadness is the same as the sum total of all additions and subtractions of truths and lies of light and shadows of good and bad of you and me and yours and mine which rounded up to the nearest round figure still comes to a zero so ironic; if it doesn’t go anywhere then why don’t I hear myself speak why do my thoughts die strangled is it a simple matter of fade out like having one too many and not able to think straight for a while and then not able to think at all no, not true… even the drunk have dreams when they sleep and they get their smiles too no, I won’t stifle myself I am not willing to be a stranger to my dreams and won’t estrange them either one day they will start speaking again (for now, I will start adding up the positive bits)" |

It's good to read you again, Suhir. This is an excellent write. You've really reached deep for this and I feel it's pondering and power. Take care, Melissa~ "Poetry is not an opinion expressed... |

Sudhir So many questions I have asked myself. and this: "then why don’t I hear myself speak why do my thoughts die strangled" they do not die...I hear you, but I understand also how sometimes, sometimes it all seems futile. Hugs to you, my friend! |
