a poem for my gardner wife... You are flowers They sing when they hear your voice They can feel your spirit join theirs It is a watering can for me It is a offering of love from you It is a cutter for me It is painless surgery for you They hear your voice and smiles fill their hearts I walk past and they wince You walk past and they smile and sigh I see them raise their arms to you and you hug them I see them struggle and you care for them Your love for them exudes from your soul You are flowers… |

Paul My husband is this way with the garden..this could have been written for him. I think it takes a special spirit to commune with nature in such a way. Wonderful tribute to your gardener wife! ![]() |

Oh Paul, this is just beautiful. I know your wife will be thrilled when she reads it. My hubby loves to be in our garden and enjoys the beauty of nature, but poor love doesn't know a dandelion from a rose. ;-) Hugs, Marti " My wrinkles are badges of courage and reveal that I am a Mother." |

well done. . . shows that the "language of flowers" is one that only a select few can speak. . . ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
