Why I write

Rhyming and timing is what it’s about
Lifting and drifting to cause a shout
Breathing and seething pulse of care
Knowing and showing “you are there”

Surging and splurging words of hope
Sorting and porting songs to cope
Risking and tsking life’s own views
Talking and squawking our own muse

Ken, love the meter and the way this sounds read aloud.
I think we all pretty well write for the same basic reasons.
