Because I know you're feeling blue
these things I want to say
you are my friend so clear and true
in every little way

I know we've walked some bumpy roads
and sat out in the rain
we know the hows and whys are known
weve been there, just the same

But fact remains, you've stood by me
and waited out the storm
you know not how this touches me
and caused my heart to warm

Now ever since I met you, girl
you let me walk right in
showed all there was inside your world
and pulled me farther in

I never had to ask or try
to see the real you
I never wondered if or why
'just did the same thing too

You're friendly, warm and cuddly too
you're honest, kind and true
you smile, you hug, you laugh me blue
with open arms, you're you

Dont let people make you feel small
dont ever settle for less
dont let the best parts of you fall
your heart and tenderness

I'll be here walking next to you
for ever and a day
returning all the things you do
and here I'll always stay.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.
