I can only hope that my heart
will forgive me if I should cry
when taking a moment to reflect
upon those days that have gone by.

Their not really tears of sadness
but more so of happy thoughts
at the memories once made
and the smiles that had been brought.

It's true that life has moved on
but I still dream about those days
and that twinkle in his eyes
and his gentle passionate ways.

If it's wrong to miss my friend
then I hope my heart will forgive
but the memories are locked inside
of the one who helped me learn~
to live.

I could have missed
the pain
but I'd have had
to miss
~THE DANCE~

Trust me..."it" will both forgive and understand the need to cry and hold on.

(big huggsssssss) Oh Donna, this is soooooo beautifully sensitive, sweet friend, I am sorry you miss your friend but know deep down he will never forget you as he will always be a friend in you and you will be in him! (sigh) There is always a place for forgiveness in the heart, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!
