I’m awakened, By a whisper to my heart. It resonates through my bones, Sweat rivers down my chest, As upright I try to answer the call. Evaporated in a moment surreal, Emerged into immense wonder, The light now gone. Restless I lay, Lonely, my only company. Then a melody fills the air, The calling sounds Nokia. “Hello”, “Hi”… exchanged Comfort placed astride, Tenderly, you soothe my fears. I ask, “Why?” “Why are you, always around?” *Isn't it just good to have someone in your life - a friend - who's always their for you? I sure am. My poetry is at: http://www.thehayden.org |
