There is a phrase from one of my posts to Dark that I would like to see expanded upon. "souls like crystal snowflakes" Anyone care to give it a try? I know this is not what you expected...I put an apostrophe in a key word to make it work for me: Her soul’s like crystal snowflakes Broken easily amid the dust Shattered from the pleadings ‘You must! You must! You must!’ She only wants to dissolve like ice Wants to just to melt away But icy breath of haunting lovers Entreat her yet to stay Trampling her gentle heart Devouring her life’s source All the while, lovers claim ‘I love you only, of course!’ When her spirit is sapped Picked dry and left to die Lovers will ne’er look back Nor do they hear her sigh A melting tear of crystal Lies now beside her cheek Would life have been so good If she were not so meek.
