Okay, I for one have been having myself a little pity party the last few days, and I'm sick and tired of it. I'm ready to get out of myself and think of the many good things that I have to be thankful for. In other words, I'm tired of seeing the glass half empty....I'm ready to start seeing it half full again.... Can anyone else write something on the subject? I challenge you all to write something about the glass being HALF FULL and not HALF EMPTY, and posting it in Open 27 so I'll be sure to see it. Okay, everybody?? Thanks ya'll. Here you go, Ethel... Not for the Sake…. I’m just that way… I don’t care to argue, but I also don’t care for disease, depression, self-pity, pitiful faces, grumblers, mumblers, or anyone or thing that may leave one feeling flat. So, not for the sake of argument, just know that you’ve been forewarned, and realize that I will always try to see the sunny-side up of things, that line of silver even when the clouds haven’t shown up yet, feel Christmas should be every day, that a smile will always leave one feeling you are beautiful, that you ARE God’s Gift… and that thing about a glass being half-full or half-empty? Well, my glass, even if it only has a drop in it, will never be empty… and what’s keeping Me from filling it back up, anyway? |
