I'm only posting this challenge because I don't think anyone else is bizarre/weird enough to come forward with it.  Anyway, how it works is you use the phrase "Rolling on the laughing floor" as a springboard to write a strangely surreal poem. Probably to be posted in Open, but if it's a bit disturbing (as surreal things are wont to be), you can always throw it to the wolves and lemurs of Dark. I will post one myself sometime soon ... though why, I have no idea. See y' there! Mike P.S. Some of you lovely people who read and write and enjoy poetry -- sign up to become a Moderator! Um... Um.... Well... Um...... Y'know. I wrote somethin'.  Mikhail, take Modern English away from me! I can't get Ricochet Days out of my head! And this poem doesn't hafta be surreal, y'know. It's perfectly sensible. Check it. (Though, admittedly, it is a surreal metaphor, but the state is a real one.) In a Room. In a House. In a Dream. written in blood before everything went black |
