The world stopped. My last breath was ripped from my ever-fragile lungs as I walked in the room and saw him with her An innocent meeting it may have been No hands were touching No secret laughs Yet her reputation puts doubts in my mind Questions that once did not exists Now play like a broken record I'm stuck and confused Jealousy fills me but why? How do I get upset over another's life? I've no claim, yet it still hurts Tears don't exists as anger drives me to the Point of.........................what? I'm not second best! I can wake up each morning and smile. But can I really? He brought my smile back to me He breathed life into my once Dead heart But now what do I have? Isn't funny how quick the human mind jumps to conclusions? Well dammit I have a right; my heart can't take anymore! edited by BrokenHeart 8-18-1999 |
