There are a few ways we could start a challenge: 1) put up a small picture and ask everyone to write what they see in the picture (call it the Passions Visual Challenge) 2) put down 12 words, any words, and you have to write a 10 line poem incorporating all the words but using synonyms and not the actual words. How's that for an idea? 3) put down 10 words, and you have to use them in a 12 line poem (that way it gives those that rhyme a chance as there are 4 line stanzas). These could be ongoing and held once a week, every two weeks, once a month? Just a thought that may make you go hmmmm? The synonym one is really neat as you have to think up the new words. There are no winners - as everyone who enters is a winner by writing to the challenge. (pssst...I hate loosing so I invented this part!) Just an idea for you as I love challenges with words. Why don't YOU choose a picture, post it and we'll write about it... |

Okay! As Easter is coming I found one that is "generic" ... bunnies, nature, and as there are two this means there has to be some bunny love! There were so many ideas that came to my mind when I saw this picture, hope some come to your muse as well. We could call this The Easter Bunny Challenge??? Here is the picture, entitled "Violet Trails and Cottontails, by Carl Brenders obtained from (www.world-wide-art.com): Good luck! And the main thing is have fun!
