I need a poem suitable for a bride to read to her groom for my wedding day. My muse has packed up and taken an extended vacation to escape the holiday and wedding chaos...can you guys help? |

MASTER OF MY SOUL Oh Master, Master, Master of my Soul, I bind myself to thee. For as long as we shall live, these chains bind you and me. These are made of rigid steel to witstand the test of time, To fasten us together ne'er to be removed Our future lay ahead of us it is pain to see, Desined for a lifetime nevermore to be set free. Thus I give myself to thee to set here at your feet, Enshrouded in you're shadows to be to you helpmeet. So now what e'er your bidding, it shall be behooved.  |

Hi Tara, I only thought of this poem because I was asked before by someone to use it on her wedding day. Please feel free to use it if this is what you had in mind. Nothing worse than writers block when you need inspiration most. Perhaps you could also check the "Love Poems" section on the main site. I'm sure there's more than one poem out there you'll love. Walk with me Walk with me, the path of life, to explore every bend of the road Enjoy with me the beauty of life, along its wonderful way Find comfort with me, in each others arms, when grief crosses our path Find strength with me, in each others strength, when despair lies in wait Laugh with me, a single true laugh, to enlighten another's distress Cry with me, a single true tear, to understand true happiness Cherish with me, the wonders of life, as they need to be preserved Rejoice with me, in the mysteries, of what is yet to be Find peace with me, in each others souls, when the world has gone insane Find love with me, in each others hearts, until this life has been fulfilled And when the path comes to an end I hope we can say from within We've known the beauty of true love, our love came from within Munda When is the wedding? |
