In the Christmas spirit is Isis. So my challenge. We all had a MAJOR Christmas dream when we were kids. The dreamed of doll or bike etc. We can remember that... So my challenge write a poem about that dream, getting the long sought gift from Santa and how it made you feel.. One of those feel good poems... Post in this forum please. A snowflake on my nose, a snowball that seems, is all I really wanted, in my Christmas dreams. A little white powder puff, sprinked on my face, is all I need to escape, this dreary sunny place. I like the sensation, that seems to come, for everyone else in our nation, and never for some. --note: I live in San Diego. We don't get snow here. ![]() |

at the crestfallen sky, i peeked the christmas list, i frowned and stared i have been good this year, santa really, cross my heart and hope to die please send some snow along the Rainbow Express and make my day for once i must not have been very good in santa's eyes after all for i received a snowglobe where its inhabitants seemed hard at work admiring its majesty while heavy pelts of rain still poured outside, drenching everyone's spirits... well,ALG, looks like we both have the same unfulfilled wish ![]() ![]() [This message has been edited by kaile (edited 12-20-2000).] |

When I was about nine I wished and I cried for feety pajamas like I had when I was three four or five. I told my mommy and my daddy too and they just said they make them to small for you. I went and told Santa even though I had doubts But I wanted them so badly I would sit and pout And then Christmas morning after santa had delivered my feety pajamas were not there so I shivered I opened my presents one two and three no feety pajamas could I see Just one more to open disappointment had set in. My parents just sat there with some weird grin. After my brothers had a turn I opened the last box with little concern. And to my delight I jumped to my feet and did a little dance while my heart skipped a beat Warm red pajamas with white bottom feet just in my size I was so suprised. and all warm on my insides. I ran to my room to try them on and paraded around the house like the cat does with a mouse. I have a son who just turned eleven But when he was nine he asked for feety pajamas. Which were very hard to find in his size. The poem about me is true I found and old picture that reminded me of them then after taking this challenge I remembered my son too, Thank you Isis |
