I like you a lot
   and I hope that we work.
I think I got it figured out now.
   I think I understand why you can be a jerk.
You say that you left me alone
   to prevent the pain you could have caused me.
I think it's just another excuse.
   I think your scared of what we might be.
You never had anyone
   to love you the way I can.
You never met a girl
   so ready to make you her man.
Never had a girl
   make love to you.
No one ever wanted
   to share their dreams with you.
This is all so new to you
   and now I understand.
I'm not in a hurry so
   whenever your ready just take my hand.
