A Heart Of Crystal ~*Marge Tindal*~ The rings that adorned your hand are only a symbol of the caring heart you wear, your crystal heart of love. Do not feel saddened for the mission of the rings They are only symbolic of far more important things. Your love resides in a crystal heart of love, shining evermore, dusted with love. The crystal box stands empty, true, but the heart that misses them is the crystal heart in you. *Written for a friend who fell on hard times and had to pawn her engagement and wedding rings* ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

This is so touching, what a beautiful poem! Your friend is lucky to have you when times are hard! Our most precious possessions don't always come wrapped in bright wrap and shiny bows! very lovely! Debbie |

Debbie~ Thank you for liking ... Her friendship is one of my most treasured posessions ... Isis~ Oh, .... Shhh ! Don't tell ... I went and got them back for her from the pawn shop and put them back in the little crystal box on her dresser. I convinced her the 'ring Faerie' brought them ... she hugged the 'ring Faerie' and said ... I believe ! *(You're welcome)* Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Marge a wonderful poem, very touching. excellent as always. Do not feel saddened for the mission of the rings They are only symbolic of far more important things ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. manic street preachers "Culture Alienation Borebom and Despair" "I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing" -faster MSP "And you see, I kind of shiver to conformity Did you see, the way I cower to authority, you see And my life, it's a series of compromises anyway It's a sham, and I'm conditioned to accept it all, you see" six by Paul Draper. ----- |
