My favorite spot is Grand Traverse Bay Holds true on any given day Old Mission Peninsula splits east and west Reaching out towards the lake never to rest In the summer the view is breathtaking There will be no mistaking On the water the sun gleams Illuminating the beauty with it's beams Waves gently caressing the sand In awe of nature's symphony I stand Inhaling the pure fresh air A hint of pine lingers in there Ducks swim and play on the beach Well within my hand's reach Looking out I see lush green trees Almost as far as my eye sees I am moved by the grandeur of this sight Takes my soul to a new height Sitting here my heart is at peace God has granted me sweet release -------------------------------------------------------- Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Lone Wolf, wonderful work hon. I was at the lake with you, watching the ducks swim and frolick. Marveling at the views. great imagery hon. We all have a special place that is precious to us, and it is a gift from heaven itself to be there and enjoy. Glad you have one that moves you so!!  I'll tell you this...... Isis, thank you very much. It was a pleasure to write really. That has to be my absolute favorite place to be. Happy to be able to share its beauty with others. You are right, we all have such a place and life is good whenever we are able to go there. Just wish mine was closer!!
