Well here it is my favourite nature spot, my home. I live in a rural area surrounded by fields and trees. It is my favourite nature spot, just to walk and lose myself and feel at one with mother nature. ========================================== field at dusk. A field at dusk, sleeping awaiting the dawn to breathe silently, Motionless, flowing unseen in rays of light, It dances as the wind and sings on our celebration tongues. My hands are coloured with the open flesh Of a furrowed field, an earthen brown Clings to thumb and finger nail. My knees are lost in high pasture, as I stand absorbing scenery to soothe my soul, slight rustles of grass draw notice to unseen wild life. Muted greens and subtle shades of dark clothe me, bless my skin, I am their child, bare trees twists anticipating the birth of foliage, smells of seasons in cycle change, an intoxicating fragrance drives my mind into states of euphoria. Here I am at my most tender, open and tranquil. < !signature--> ------------------------ "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? Brian such imagery and sensitivity you hold for your magical place. You described it so well I was indeed there with you and that is no small feat. You have a lovely place to retreat to when you need to think or be one with nature, that is a precious thing. Wonderful work. And Monique, yes some men in this world are sensitive and we indeed find them here in Passions... I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Merci Beaucoup Monique (five years of French classes in secondary/high school and those words are all I can remember). I like to be in touch with my sensitive side. Thank you very much for your kind words. yes Isis I am fortunate to live in a scenic area, it feel isolated at times but it is a small price to pay. I am glad that you could envision my little spot, you are welcome to visit anytime. Thanks for visiting and for your lovely words. No Netswan you were not disturbing my peace with nature, it is one of those things that is more beautiful when shared. Hi Janet, all I have is trees and grass as well, granted they are in a large field. I am sorry for scaring your muse off, I really did not mean to. Thank you kind words, I guess I do see things differently...I'll take that as a compliment. ------------------------ "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? BrianM~ To walk among the grasses tall ... seen through the eyes of a friend who shares all. Beautifully stated. I believe we may have walked together in the time before this ... spirits dwell in the lands of the heart. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
