Here is a little challenge.  Nature is very wonderful and I love to write about it. So here is the Challenge.  Write a poem about Fire, any aspect of fire.  This will be Challenge one..as I will challenge you to write of the other elements as well.

Here is my Fire Poem for those who have not Seen

It warms us in the middle
of a cold night. Fills are being
with warmth, cradles us.
The Fire within our hearts breathes life

The Fire is wondrous
Alluring to the heart and Soul
We all want to Find the Fire
to be engulfed by the fire

Yet beware, Fire is of Nature
Being both Good and Bad
The Fire can Warm and Heal,
but just the same it can Burn

We all search for the fire
needing the fire to fills us
I await to fill the warmth
The comfort of Love.

Any style.  Free versed or Rhyme...doesn't matter how you write the poem.

Is anyone Up for this Challenge???

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Floating gently on a cloud....

How's this?
Sunset

                    Fiery red and golden colours
                    Blaze across the eastern skies,
Painted in with the sure, swift stroke
                    Of an artist’s hand.
The clouds dance through a hundred shades of brilliance
Trying to decide which best adorns them.
Then the day comes gently to a close,
As the sun sinks below the horizon...
Once vivid colours fade into the pale violet hues
                    Of a twilight sky.

  The Fire within me,
keeps me pinned.
  The fire is the love
of you, that keeps me
in sin.
  No matter how much water
life throws at me,
The flame keeps burning.
Burning like a star,
in my heart...
