This weeks challenge is to tell me in poetic form, who and what your 'dream' life's partner would be like. ie. He'd have to have a sense of humour, Always make me laugh, But then when I need guidance, I'd expect him to stand tough etc etc. Anyone interested in giving it a go? And we'll see if looks aren't important like everybody tends to say.. Ok!! I have something to post here!! I’ll know when my love comes along..... He’ll look into my eyes and see into my heart. He’ll smile a special smile just for me, We will always be together, never apart. His touch will send a surge of electricity through my soul, I will melt into his soft and tender embrace. My lips with his slender fingers he will trace, So in love will we be. The man of my dreams will never betray me, His love for me will be so real. I won’t ever have to worry about being alone, He will promise me that with a kiss as the seal. His kiss will fill my heart and soul with everlasting joy, We will walk beneath the stars all night. With him everything will seem so right. So in love will we be. I have never been in love before, But I’ll know when everlasting love comes along. He will always be able to make me happy, He will fill my heart with a beautiful song. His love will be my life long pleasure, forever and ever, We’ll dance in the moonlight- dance all night. Into my life he will bring dazzling light. So in love will we be. Forever and ever, till death do us part, I’ll love him with every bit of my heart. So in love will we be. That's it! I wrote it a while back but it seems to fit the challenge so I thought I might as well use it and then check out the alternative challenge. Oh isis, I have a poem that I wrote about the encounter with my "dream partner" It is called Engulfing fire, I'll Post it in Dark.. Okay, I'll accept the challenge hmmmm? He Wasn't A Dream There is someone Who'll cause my mind to Ramble through a cluttered archive Of whats missing in my Life The way he'll Look- at me Changes my previous destination From being Single & Free The way he'll hold me- In those arms I'll see what I'm missing And, be sure of what I need The way he'll kiss me Will make me want to write Poetry And, hold my breath to stop time He'll cause me to Fantasize: In the Sleepless hours of the night About the things, I want him to do to me Things that'll keep me longing for more If I could only leave him the keys That will open the door To my Dreams and, we'll both be In Ectasy- until the Morning And, when I awoke I found myself waking to The end of the most realistic Dream And, Yet a gentle red rose- Beside me in bed Realizing, That my Dream Was not a Dream at all When I saw the man of my Dreams Entering the room He was the all along And, I knew...
