Here's a challenge that might be fun.

Write a poem with as much alliteration (repetition of either consonant or vowel sounds) as possible while still maintaining coherent thought in your lines.

example consonance) consonant repitition.

A butcher bought a bumblebee in baltimore to see
if he could on his butcher board behead that blasted
   bee.
But blame it on the butcher's aim, the bitter bane he
   bore,
with every brawny blow he'd bray and bellow blow and
   roar.
The bee however better fared by buzzing out the door.

(assonance) would be repetition of vowel sounds like:
a fool might think it cool to drool.

or write a poem with as much onomatopoeia (the deliberate imitation of sounds by words ...crunch, crinkle, wham, buzz, zip, etc....) these kind of exercises can stretch the poetic muscles while having fun!   Look forward to see what all of you crazy catz come up with.
