Ok I want some one to make me a poem about the world how it has become and how we're distroying our home...for instance we werent supposed to have cars, and computers and that stuff we were supposed to live off the land and that jive...I want someone to make me a poem about that...I prefer Poet DeVines style of writing How he has words that rhyme and good rhythm , and the same amount of lines in each verse... real picky arent I?? Thats the challenge Dana |

I'll leave it for PDV then, I'm sure she'll love to have a go!! May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love. I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart, That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world, Wishing you well and wishing you love...... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Gazing up into the sky I often ask the question why With all the beauty the earth has given With mans distruction, we are still forgiven How long can progress continue to ruin Everything the earth is doing It feeds and shelters us from dusk til dawn Allows our children to be born With every generation experimenting more One thing I know is sure If we continued to live in the past We wouldn't worry if our world would last ken ( is this what you were looking for ? ) |

Mother Earth Everybody loves a mother There’s no love of greater worth But most of us do not respect Or show a love for Mother Earth We have all destroyed our planet Some things, irreversible The deeds of those who speak the loudest Often are invisible Each one makes a contribution To the planet’s woeful ails We never take the time to stop And walk prevention’s harder trails Deadly chemical pollution Nuclear power’s accidents Toxic drums are laid to rest Landfill leaks are prevelent But each household in the country Spills pollution of its own Discarding useless packaging We fill the earth with styrofoam We pour our solvents down the drain We grow our grass on chemicals And never once protest the waste We leave that to the radicals Every body loves a mother That’s what Mom is all about But no one loves our Mother Earth For some odd reason, she’s left out Elizabeth Santos |
