Tangled Thoughts #1 As the Spring unfolds, some of my first memories of you begin to shadow my morning eyes. That first wait, unseen by you reading billboards, wondering if I stationed myself properly, would you recognize the caring in me, know my state of mind, see through my shy, handle me as if you knew the truth of my crumbling world. Whenever you were near, my within would want to touch you, show you who I am and that I need to be closer when that fear residing in me would slip to the out, bending me to its wishes and no one understanding, but you. I risked everything, pain, sorrow in the shape of loving, holding onto the moments of you, paradise feedings. I count my blessings, placing them between pages of my life, to bring me joy upon morning wakes, sleepless nights now pillowed holds, keepsakes of your love. You deliver to me a light side of my dark, a healing, a contentment, a subsiding of fear for the time my eyes can touch upon yours. I pause to remember their velvet softness, the feel of you, when last we met, sharing our warmth, not knowing it would be the end. You mean more to me than words can say, although I try to leave you with a sense of me to fill your eyes, I never know if I succeed, I never know if you know of the pleasure you bring me, and how the fears release their hold, whenever you are near. Some day, I hope to do the same for you and until that day arrives, I shall leave you with my tangled thoughts, those that only you can unravel when the timing is right. Fear not the day, I am here, holding only good thoughts, you in my heart, and all that is yours, I pray, to never be taken away. ~M~ "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
