Having the thought of gentleness sear its futile moment into my mind on the first thought of a sagging day, yes its only mid week once again. Break open the eyelids for the millionth time as soon as the bloody clock starts screaming at my dreams of destiny's lost, forgotten wonders. Drag the body up to meet the cold chill of a morning out of the beautiful coverd heat that you made in the night as you passed for semi dead. Only now does your mind start to activate in slow transition to the fact that your alive, and that the floor is damn cold. The shower, the clothes, the food that runs down your throat, the last second scramble to find your keys as you scream past the door and to your car! Only to see the saturday paper waiting for you. |

Very clever, and very apt description, of the monotone of existance that reverberates into conundrum....I am not sure which is worse, too much to do? Or nothing to do at all... either way, it's tedious. Enjoyed. |

Nice twist at the end! Nothing like being a day late! Neat poem. |

I loved the ending! It might be nice to clean up your spelling to make the read easier |
