(We've been having the worst drought here in Colorado since 1977, it has been muy caliente! I was inspired to write this by daydreaming on this warm day! Your common sense casts my heart in iron You know I have trampled for years Crossing miles through this blinding desert Your philosophy is so more romantic to me than Robert Owens And much more reasonable than Karl Marx I feel like a pirate seeking your lost treasure Ah yes, I can finally see The phoenix rise before me You've got me focused Forever we will always be Your face is fair, your face is soft As creamy as butterscotch All I aspire is to forever hold you To you I will always be true Your lips are more red than vermillion Your belly-dance is beautifully seductive And every time my heart sighs Just staring into those Arabian eyes I'm basking under this red hot summer sun Stepping into ancient temples Dancing tango with hallucinations On this tennis court of passion, I hear your siren cries They play like sitars Twinned to my wildest imagination Ah yes, I can finally see The phoenix rise before me You've got me focused Forever we will always be Your face is fair, your face is soft As creamy as butterscotch All I aspire is to forever hold you To you I will always be true Your lips are more red than vermillion Your belly-dance is beautifully seductive And every time my heart sighs Just staring into those Arabian eyes Take me, I'm yours Swing me, sweet chariot I'm lost in your eyes Those Arabian eyes I can never resist Your face is fair, your face is soft As creamy as butterscotch All I aspire is to forever hold you To you I will always be true Your lips are more red than vermillion Your belly-dance is beautifully seductive And every time my heart sighs Just staring into those Arabian eyes [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (04-23-2002 10:37 PM).] |

Es muy caliente, si? El sol.... well, my Spanish is too weak to write much more than this. It's an interesting poem. I remember seeing some mysterious Arabian eyes years ago, when I lived in the ME. You nearly had a sunstroke today? We should get to +45F by the weekend, and then I'll have to worry about heatstroke! |
